Alberta Culture Days

Alberta Culture Days 2016

The SPEC Association for Children and Families has been selected to be a Host Celebration Site for the upcoming Alberta Culture Days which takes place on September 30 to October 2, 2016. Alberta Culture Days is Albertas largest celebration of art, heritage, cultural diversity and provincial pride.

Alberta Culture Days began in 2008 as Alberta Arts Day, a one-day event to recognize the value of Albertas arts and cultural communities. Since then, it has expanded into a vibrant, three-day, province-wide celebration that has helped inspire the creation of Culture Days - a pan-Canadian movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.

Brooks residents will have a wide range of arts and cultural experiences to enjoy. All residents and their families are encouraged to attend and embrace the different cultural and artistic attributes that our community has to offer.
