The City of Brooks will be hosting a procurement session for local goods and service providers. The session will take place at the Heritage Inn Hotel and Convention Centre, on March 8 from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Regional government and not for profit organizations will be represented including the City of Brooks, County of Newell, Town of Bassano, Village of Duchess, Grasslands Regional School Division, and Christ the Redeemer School Division.
Any local business who is interested in providing goods and services to any of these organizations is encouraged to attend. The session is open to all licensed businesses who wish to:
Introduce themselves/their business to participating organizations;
Review supplies/services that the organization purchases/contracts; and/or,
Review the requirements and regulations involved in the tendering and awarding process.
The format for the session will be come and go; any interested parties are encouraged to attend for as long or short as they prefer.
