Brooks Seniors Homeowner Grant Program
Under this program, low income seniors receiving the Alberta Seniors Benefit as of May 1, 2023 have received a grant of $100 per household. If you are eligible, a credit has been applied directly to your property tax account prior to the combined Assessment/Taxation Notices being sent out. No application is necessary to receive this grant if you are already receiving the Alberta Seniors Benefit.
Seniors Deferral Program
The Seniors Property Tax Deferral Program allows eligible senior homeowners to defer all or part of their property taxes through a low-interest home equity loan with the Alberta Government.
