Recreation Service Fee Increase

Recreation Service Fee Increase

The City of Brooks would like to inform residents about an upcoming increase in rates and fees for Recreation Services.

On July 1st, an increase to Aquatic Program rates and fees was implemented, while increases in fees for all other recreation services such as memberships and facility rentals will take place on August 1st.

Similar municipalities and facilities in Alberta were surveyed to compare rates and fees to ensure Brooks is at or below average cost in most instances.

The City of Brooks would like to thank those who utilize and enjoy our facilities for their continued patronage and support and would also like to welcome any new patrons who have not used the facilities before. The City of Brooks is the proud home of state-of-the-art recreation facilities such as the JBS Canada Centre and the Centennial Regional Arena. Providing first-rate recreation facilities services is important to City Council as it improves quality of life for residents, while attracting visitors and tourists.
