[ARCHIVED] Large Storage Bins for Sale

Storage Bins for Sale

The City of Brooks has about 200 large storage bins to sell. These would be great for outdoor storage of things like outdoor furniture or cushions, feed, firewood, cans, etc. or they could be used as a planter or for container gardening. Here are some details:

  1. Bins are made of high density plastic
  2. Dimensions are 47 inches wide (119cm), 41 inches deep (104cm), 38 inches tall (96cm) for a total of 1.5 cubic yards.
  3. The lids/hinges are all in working order, keeping the inside dry and secure.
  4. There are holes in the bottom for drainage in case liquid gets in. The holes could be plugged if you wanted to use the bin for hold water.
  5. We have brand new ones and used ones, which have been well cleaned and pressure washed.
  6. Used ones sit on a steel skid, keeping the bin raised off the ground. The skid can be removed if desired (brand new bins don't have the skid).

The bins are for sale for $250 for a brand new one and $150 for a used one. Payment can be taken at City Hall and pickup can be arranged through the Public Works department (403-362-3146). When customers are picking up, they must be able to load the bins themselves - they're quite light but if you struggle with lifting, you may want to bring a helper.

No holds! Get them before the snow comes!
